How recovery data softwares work (part 1)

Power failures, natural disasters, PC crash, viruses or simple human error can be the causes of the most common technical scourge: the data loss . It is estimated that there are millions of people suffering from problems due to data loss each year in the world and millions of euros are lost due to the fact that important files get lost. Fortunately for us, the data recovery programs are becoming more and more sophisticated and, unless extraordinarily serious events occurred, as the burnout of the hard disk, the magnetization and so forth, data can be retrieved . It's only a matter of having the right tools and the right data recovery software. But to understand how a data recovery software can help us regain our precious files back, we must first look at what is happening inside of our hard disk when a file is deleted or lost.

Delete unnecessary files to Windows by using the "delete" key or just click the right mouse button selecting "Delete." If your operating system is set to send deleted files to the Trash, the deleted file is stored there. However, if you set Windows so that deleted files do not pass through basket you've completely lost them, right?
Wrong! What was deleted is only visible link to that file. You need to consider your hard drive as a website with a link on the homepage to Content.html. When you delete the link on your website you are still able to see the page Content.html, so it means that the page has disappeared from the server! It 'still there, only that you can not see it from the interface provided by the website. (See part 2..)
